Immediate Release - August 21, 2025 Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has selected the team to represent Canada at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Fresh off the World Rowing Cups and a busy international circuit, Canadian crews are ready to make the final push to China. In 2024, the Women’s Eight captured silver at the Paris 2024 Olympics and achieved gold at the 2024 World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland. After a successful run at Canadian Henley in 2025, winning Henley Gold, the crew is eager to hit the water at World Championships. National Team rower Katie Clark, who impressed with strong 4th place finishes at the World Cups in Varese and Lucerne in her international debut in Women’s Single Sculls, shared her thoughts on the team’s progress:Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has selected the team to represent Canada at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, China, from September 21-28.National Team rower, Terek Been, spoke about the upcoming racing awaiting the team in Shanghai. “I’m excited to represent Canada on the world stage and put our hard training this year into action.“Our para crew is very excited to compete in Shanghai, up against the world’s best. This team represents a broad spectrum of ages and differing abilities. We’ve been well supported by Rowing Canada, and we’re ready to work together to lay down some solid performances during competition,” remarked Stu.

NASCAR has said in multiple filings amid this antitrust lawsuit that it will reallocate any money received from 23XI and Front Row Motorsports to “the teams that signed a 2025 charter.” The sanctioning body even appears to include the money totals in NASCAR’s 34-page filing from Aug.If 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports don’t get their desired outcome in court this week, it’ll mean a lot of money for Cup Series teams, NASCAR says — to the tune of $1.5 million per charter.The commissioner disclosed that NASCAR paid the two teams $25,146,300 in “fixed owner’s payments and performance payments.” Once that money gets redistributed to the 30 charters not belonging to 23XI or FRM, the letter says, each chartered car/team will receive $838,210.The second part deals with how much money the teams will receive if the teams fail to have their charter status restored for the rest of the 2025 season — which will be decided this week, according to what district judge Kenneth Bell said in a hearing on Thursday.
